My friends and I got a spot right in the center in front of the soundboard.. perfect spot. With proper ear protection it would have been perfect, but that's splitting hairs. Great experience!!! The doors were opened at 6:30 and the concert started at 8:30 and finished by 10pm. I love a band that is so confident in their playlist that they play their popular songs right off the bat!! Download Wolfgang Phoenix's most recent songs, watch YouTube clips of his performances, or visit the store to purchase merchandise. I really hope The Phoenix returns to Phoenix some time soon. They played for about an hour and a half, and their encore included him sitting on the gate in first row (I was in the third row, my heart swept!). Still the best live band I've ever seen. Though they really broke on the scene with their hit album, Wolfgang Amadeus (2009), they should really be appreciated based on the catchy songs that you may not know. 1,033,892 fans get concert alerts for this artist. I have seen Phoenix twice in concert, once at a festival (T in the park) and once at the Metropolis in Montreal. They are the best! It's obvious they love what they do and put a lot of time into making the experience great for their loving fans. to track Phoenix and get concert alerts when they play near you. It’s the second time I’ve seen Phoenix live and it was even better this time! They give soooo much energy in their live performance that you can't help but scream even louder than you thought you could as an acknowledgement. Call it alternative rock, synthpop, or new wave, when listening to Phoenix, you will call it great fun. Absolutely horrendous. If you are a fan of the band DONT miss out on the opportunity to see them perform in front of your eyes. I couldn't stop dancing and singing! So fans who weren't familiar with it weren't disappointed. They were crazy! Shout-out to the opening band The Vegan Leather who were great and some what savoured a rather disappointing night, All in all the show was everything I expected and more. They opened with Entertainment and played Love Like a Sunset in which Thomas actually left the stage and gave way to the other musicians. I have spent a very good time seeing one of my favourite bands ever in one of the most beautiful places in London. Please keep coming to Reno! Phoenix is not due to play near your location currently - but they are scheduled to play 2 concerts across 1 country in 2020-2021. These guys are total artist! Join Songkick They had this amazing floor panel and a mirror behind them that showed the floor changing colors and images. Everyone at the venue was dancing the entire evening. You could tell everyone was just there to have a good time and enjoy the music together. If they're in your area, BUY THE FREAKING TICKETS. there was a big mirror at 45 degrees behind them and light up flooring. The crowd was amazing. Big shout out to the parcels! Something else notable was that the pit was the most wholesome one I've ever experienced. This concert was so amazing. Some bands are terrible at festival settings but amazing when it's just them. But, it's hard to give a good rating after traveling to see a show and the band only plays for 90 minutes (Reno). I was told that it was not sold out. Thank you Phoenix!! I saw them when they were touring on their Bankrupt! Whether you're a long-time fan or are new to their music, you will bob your head and tap your foot along with the exciting, rhythmic pattern that is Phoenix. It was a magical experience man! The French based band provides a perfect mixture of poppy percussion, soulful guitar, and perfectly utilized synthesizers and none of this is lost when appreciating them live. Thomas is a one-man show but he is a perfect addition for the enjoyable performance. I knew the encore was for sure coming at the end, since they hadn't played 1901 yet, but it was still really exciting for me. These guys played one of the best setlists I've heard, (although do I wish they would include something from the album Alphabetical,) and they sounded great. The playlist was very well crafted so as to give a mellow break for the crowd and the band. I wish I could see them live every day but seeing them even once really satiated my thirst for great music. 2013 was up on stage rocking out with them, 2017 Thomas is standing on my hands and thanking the entire crowd. I've been fans of Phoenix for about five years now and this was the most incredible concert I've ever been to. Phoenix did not disappoint!! Nobody was pushing or shoving very much, and everyone was surprisingly polite, though there was still a plenty of energy. But not Phoenix ! Thomas Mars is a huge fan of crowdsurfing so look ou for the extra long red LED mic cord and you know it’s going to happen soon!
