Oscar has a ton of knowledge on the specs on this new motor and you'll definitely want to listen in. I just purchased a 2019 roadglide special with the 114, at the 1000 mile service the service manager told me about the issue, said to check the levels frequently and if I ever heard any noises or noticed changes in the levels to bring it in for some kind of vent tube that is supposed to fix the issue if it occurs. // ]]>. Could have called this one, “The Harley faithful embrace 90’s technology”. The problem with the new M-8 is a simple fix once Harley was aware of the problem which is an oil hose pinch clamp that was not made tight enough on some of their 2017 line-up and this caused oil to run out where the hose connected to the oil cooler and some owners were unaware of the leak until the oil had run out causing the engine to over heat and freeze up. //
